long and short of it

My last quarter here is starting to wind down. A list of my big assignments and exams fits easily on a halfsheet of paper, the line books on the "read" end of my bookshelf is coming in the lead, and more coffee is being consumed. Graduation is a month from tomorrow--jeepers.

I ran into a friend today and it made me realize I really will miss Athens. The past couple of quarters have made me into some sort of near-sided-curry-eating-hermit-lady. Tasty, sure, but more than a little pathetic. I'm still really looking forward to everything that's going to be happening in the next year...but I now I'm including this month in the things I'm looking forward to. Athens has treated me well :)

Anyway...This video cracked me up and reminded me of crazy nights at my brother's apartment...UNO tournaments can get heated!

....maybe you had to be there :P

In other news...I had a haircut (most of them actually)

sorry whitman...

I used to be afraid of wet grass. My dad says I had retractable legs. He would try to set me into the grass so I could crawl around play--but-- my legs would disappear.

I wish I was still afraid of grass.

Growing up is kind of like waking up after falling asleep on a long car ride--you feel pain in places you didn't know could hold pain.

I can't remember the last time I had itchy, green stains on my knees.
